JAX Tyres & Auto Bendigo

I was recommended to JAX by a friend who recently had her vehicle serviced there as well. Decided to give it a try. Had a waiting time of just a couple of days, which was no issues for me. They were flexible with allowing me to decide when I could pick up my vehicle. Service was smooth, no hassle no dramas. They had suggested for my shockers to be replaced but not pushy about it at all. In fact, just told me to make an appointment when I was ready to get it done. Which I find very pleasant and no pressures at all. Will definitely go back to JAX for my next servicing.

Disgusting customer service! My husband and I are travelling around Australia in our campervan. Unfortunately we needed two new front tyres and a wheel alignment. I booked the van in and dropped it off at Jax. I had been given the quote for tyres and alignment. We returned to pay and pick up the van. I was given the bill which was for the amt quoted. I asked if the wheel alignment had been done and was told no because they don’t have the equipment needed to lift the van. At no time when I booked in was I told this information. They did not contact me to tell me this prior to starting the tyre changes. When I questioned the bill for the full amt and no alignment asking how much this would cost me to have the alignment done at another business, he told me $89.00. I questioned why I had to pay this when my understanding was the price quoted was for both. At this point the ‘manager’ Daniel raised his voice and yelled I don’t f……….get enough money for this!!. I was shocked he accused me of being abusive whilst I did not raise my voice or swear. This man threatened me with calling the police which I agreed as I was quite calm, however he was out of control and very threatening. He was yelling at me to get out. He actually said that he could have told me that he did the wheel alignment and I wouldn’t know. He also in his tirade asked why I was doing all the talking and why couldn’t my husband ( he was standing beside me and did tell him he was being abusive) This was way out of line as my husband has a chronic illness and is unable to help in these circumstances. I went to the police and told them how abusive and threatening he was, this was to have it on record as he went from 0 to 100 in seconds and was so threatening. Take your business elsewhere we shouldn’t have to put up with abuse!!

Simon went out of his way to help us with a new caravan tyre. His supplier let him down with delivery of the correct tyre but he went to bat for us and the correct tyre was arranged and delivered by the supplier the very same day, allowing us to continue on our journey without delay. We took the opportunity to have the car tyres rotated, balanced and a wheel alignment whilst we were there. A brilliant job at a reasonable price. All done in a friendly and efficient manner. Highly recommend this business. Cannot fault the service or their attitude.
